Affordable Connectivity Program
Dear Utah Broadband Community,
We have an important update regarding the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a critical federal initiative aimed at ensuring affordable internet access for eligible households.
Closure of New Applications
As of February 7, 2024, the ACP will no longer accept new applications. This development follows an announcement from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) citing the lack of additional funding from Congress as the reason for this decision.
Unfortunately, this means we are unable to process new applications for the ACP benefit through Utah Broadband or any other service provider beyond this date. For those who have successfully applied and been approved before the 11:59 p.m. ET deadline, your benefits will proceed as outlined in your acceptance.
Contact Information for ACP Support
For any questions regarding the wind-down of the ACP, or if you need information about your benefit, please contact the ACP Support Center directly:
- ACP Support Center: Call (877) 384-2575 for information about your benefit and any inquiries related to the program’s wind-down.
Next Steps and Further Information
We understand this may be disappointing news for those who were considering applying for the ACP benefit. We encourage everyone to stay informed of any future updates or changes to similar programs by checking the FCC’s website and our own updates.
For detailed information about the wind-down of the ACP, you can review the FCC’s official wind down notice.
Utah Broadband remains committed to providing affordable and reliable Internet services to our community. For questions or support, and to learn more about our available services, please contact our sales team. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
